     Most of the time our breathing occurs automatically and unconsciously, leading us to breathe shallow, through the mouth and causing us oxygen deprivation which has plenty of side effects, not only on our physical health but also on our mental and emotional wellbeing.  In a lying down or comfortable upright seated position, take a couple of minutes throughout each day to practice conscious Diaphragmatic breathing and begin to experience the positive effects of a healthy breathing state.

     Follow this 2 minute Box Breathing exercise to explore the wonders of breath hold in between each inhale and exhale.
